I was born in Austin, Texas in 1977. In 1996 I left for New York to study art at Skidmore College. In 2000, I received a Bachelor of Science, earned Deans List Honors, and had my work selected for the annual juried competition at the Schick art gallery in Saratoga Springs, NY. My studio concentrations were painting and photography, however I also minored in Art History.
Upon returning to Austin, I focused both on painting, and filmmaking. I have worked on numerous films in varying capacities, most recently working as Production Designer and Art Director. Still, painting and photography have remained my primary focus.
